ROLES? WHAT NEXT ?
Sitting in that room again
People come and go trying to prove something
To others or to themselves is the question.
Tick…tick…tick
The wristwatch of the person next to me
Waiting waiting waiting
Two voices in my head
Waiting for what?
Don’t ask me!
Freedom from sitting around without a purpose
Then what
Don’t ask me-I am listening to the class
How well do I fit into the role set?
What? Why should I?
Should I?
Discussion: If unsatisfactory
What if Unsatisfactory?
The subject must take measures to make satisfactory!
What first for all I have a role?
Yeah, and you are supposed to improve yourself for it
Silence…tick…tick….
Tick….triiiiinnggg…my role
Get out of the class
Play the role or be locked….

this is an awsome poem...hey can i borrow this for my songs lyrics...:-) i love this poem!!!
No u may not borrow this for lyrics cos its the lamest thing i ve ever written or read...and i respect music too much for this crap to be made into music.....
i just had to read the first line for every thin else to just fall into place...
he he he...im tht predictable huh
no! "Sitting in that room again" invokes some kind of distaste for "that room" and that kind of distaste is invoked by only one room for me in the world and that is our dearest classroom :)
it just fit...like a the last missing piece from a jigsaw puzzle...there was no other piece
poetry is wat u r best at.. i mean i ve listened to hav spoken volumes and hav read on d pointlessness of college... but nothing put it so appropriately as this... its d simplicity that worked here to put forward the everyday-ness of boring classes..
hey thanks a lot u guys...its ur comments that keep me going
